Courgette & Cucumber Smoothie Recipe – A delicious green vegetable smoothie filled with vitamins and antioxidants. Serve this smoothie well chilled for maximum enjoyment; keeping the ingredients in the refrigerator and serving immediately will help. This smoothie is great for dealing with fluid retention.
Courgette & Cucumber Smoothie Ingredients:
- 1 whole hothouse cucumber
- 1 medium courgette
- 150ml green tea
- 300ml live natural yogurt
- Few fresh parsley sprigs, plus extra for decoration
- 2 fresh tarragon sprigs
- 4 ice cubes
- 8-10 whole chive leaves, plus extra for decoration
- Peel the cucumber, discard the seeds and cut into chunks.
- Peel the courgette and cut into chunks.
- Place all the ingredients, except the extras for decoration, into a smoothie blender.
- If using a smoothie machine, blend on mix for 15 seconds and then smooth for 45 seconds.
- In a regular blender, blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
- Pour into glasses, decorate and serve.
