Courgette and Cucumber Smoothie Recipe

Courgette & Cucumber Smoothie Recipe  – A delicious green vegetable smoothie filled with vitamins and antioxidants. Serve this smoothie well chilled for maximum enjoyment; keeping the ingredients in the refrigerator and serving immediately will help. This smoothie is great for dealing with fluid retention.

Serves 2

Courgette & Cucumber Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 1 whole hothouse cucumber
  • 1 medium courgette
  • 150ml green tea
  • 300ml live natural yogurt
  • Few fresh parsley sprigs, plus extra for decoration
  • 2 fresh tarragon sprigs
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 8-10 whole chive leaves, plus extra for decoration

Cocktail Directions:

  • Peel the cucumber, discard the seeds and cut into chunks.
  • Peel the courgette and cut into chunks.
  • Place all the ingredients, except the extras for decoration, into a smoothie blender.
  • If using a smoothie machine, blend on mix for 15 seconds and then smooth for 45 seconds.
  • In a regular blender, blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses, decorate and serve.

  9. I dont know if this is a drink that I would like since I have never heard of using cucumbers in a smoothie. I like cucumbers so I guess its always possible that I might like this drink I would like to try it and see. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  19. Yes, a healthy smoothie using my favorite veggie, the cucumber. I don’t know what a Courgette is and I am sure they don’t sell them anywhere close to me. I will have to substitute
